Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team and specialize in selling industrial gaskets, commercial hoses, and related products. In this role, you will build relationships with new and existing clients in industries such as manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, and other industrial sectors. You will identify customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive revenue growth within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development & Lead Generation
    1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, networking, and following up on leads.
    2. Develop a strong pipeline of potential customers in target industries.
  2. Client Relationship Management
    1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their gasket and hose needs.
    2. Conduct on-site visits to assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate products.
    3. Provide ongoing customer support to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  3. Product Expertise & Sales Presentations
    1. Demonstrate a deep understanding of gaskets, commercial hoses, and related applications.
    2. Educate customers on product features, benefits, and performance specifications.
    3. Deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
  4. Territory Management
    1. Travel within the designated territory to meet with clients and close sales opportunities.
    2. Strategically manage time and resources to maximize coverage and revenue.
  5. Reporting & Metrics
    1. Achieve sales targets and provide regular updates on territory performance, including sales forecasts and pipeline activity.
    2. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools.
  6. Market Insights
    1. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging customer demands.
    2. Provide feedback to internal teams for product development and improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative or similar role in industrial or manufacturing sales.
  • Strong knowledge of gaskets, hoses, or other industrial equipment preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience selling to industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, construction, or industrial maintenance.
  • Technical background or knowledge of industrial products.
